Abstract

À partir de l’examen des différents canaux de diffusion et de valorisation de la création contemporaine dans les agglomérations de Lyon, Montpellier, Nantes, Le Havre et Rouen, l’étude propose une topographie des mondes de l’art actuel qui s’organise autour de pôles principaux : le monde institutionnel et le monde marchand, qui ont chacun leurs mondes intermédiaires. Elle identifie différents modèles économiques de l’art fondés sur une double distinction : économie d’œuvres versus économie de projet d’une part, innovation versus tradition d’autre part. L’étude propose une typologie inédite des galeries et met en évidence des profils d’artistes (formation, carrière, lieux de diffusion, rémunération) différents selon le modèle économique au sein duquel ces artistes évoluent.

Abstract

Si le commerce physique des biens culturels reste le maillon économique central de l’économie de la création, quel est son avenir dans le contexte de la révolution numérique qui tend à déstructurer les filières par le double effet de la dématérialisation des contenus culturels et de la migration d’une partie de l’offre et des transactions dans l’univers numérique ? L’exercice prospectif à court terme (horizon 2015) tente, à partir de l’identification des tendances lourdes et de l’observation des stratégies actuelles d’adaptation des acteurs, d’envisager trois scénarios d’évolution des filières dans quatre secteurs culturels : musique enregistrée, livre, jeu vidéo et films en vidéo.

Abstract

Latin American market-oriented reforms along the lines of the Washington Consensus need to be supplemented by a number of social policies to achieve a more equitable society. While there has been considerable progress in enhancing the efficiency, much less has been made with regard to improving the social situation. Germany has a long and successful tradition of a social market economy. However, developments in recent years have shown various pitfalls in the current economic and social security systems and the need for appropriate adjustments. Therefore, Germany as well as most Latin American countries have to look for new solutions to combine social justice with economic efficiency. This volume addresses some of the most pertinent problems in this respect.

Many buying decisions are made at the Point of Sale. This fact underlines the outstanding importance of behaviourism, its methods and its efficiency. Therefore this work deals with the classical as well as with recent research methods into buying habits, etc. Validity aspects receive special attention. To demonstrate how much information can be gathered with relatively little effort an adapted form of research at the POS is described. Also suggestions are given to look into the behaviour of the staff at the POS.
