Abstract

In der Industrie und in den Forschungsinstitutionen werden die unterschiedlichsten Prüfstandskonzepte eingesetzt, um die Reifeneigenschaften messtechnisch zu erfassen. Ziel der vorliegenden Forschungsarbeit war es, den Einfluss der Fahrbahnoberflächenkrümmung auf Rollwiderstandsmessergebnisse sowie auf die Ergebnisse von Cornering-Stiffness- und Aligning-Stiffness-Messungen genau zu erfassen und die Wirkung unterschiedlicher Versuchsparameter auf den Fahrbahnkrümmungseinfluss aufzuzeigen.

Abstract

As a contribution to environmental protection, the EU tyre label was introduced. However, the best label value does not necessarily imply the lowest rolling resistance under real operating conditions. This research work aims to develop a model to predict the rolling losses of car tyres based on standardized rolling resistance measurements. Using this model, the rolling resistance at variable operating parameters will be predicted.

Abstract

The present work focuses on tyres for passenger cars, especially on its influence on power loss, lateral dynamics, ride comfort and interior noise. The objective of the work is the quantification of conflicts between four selected requirements considering the physical constraints given by the tyre. The method proposed in the present book is based on a set of functional tyre characteristics, a physical tyre model and a procedure for identifying and quantifying the conflicts.
