This work addresses the problem of asynchronous user involvement in software projects. It develops a new methodology, OpenProposal, which Integrates an enhanced snapshot annotation tool into a collaborative environment. Two case studies show that this approach could help in reducing the effort for usability tests as well as motivating users to express their ideas and needs more precisely.

This work studies the interaction of natural aerosol with clouds for two different weather regimes in Central Europe. One model study highlights the impact of sea salt aerosol on postfrontal, convective cumulus clouds. The other study examines the influence of mineral dust aerosol on the formation of cirrus clouds during a mineral dust outbreak on 3 April 2014.

A reliable diagnosis of the state of motor development requires objective and reliable test procedures. As part of the MoMo Baseline Study, the motor fitness of 4529 children and adolescents in Germany was evaluated by using the MoMo Performance Test (11 motor and computer based tests). The data obtained served as a basis for the compilation of nationwide representative standard values. By using these values, it is possible to classify the state of motor fitness and follow its development.

The central elements of this work are the design of an electricity tariff with variable capacity prices accepted by residential customers and the question how this tariff affects demand flexibility. Therefore, a corresponding tariff concept is developed. Based on an empirical study its acceptance and specific design is analyzed. The impact of different electricity tariffs on demand flexibility is analyzed with a developed bottom-up model for residential load profiles.
